Article 6 (Provision of Personal Information to Third Parties)
1. The Company does not provide personal information to third parties without the prior consent of the individual, except in the following cases or as permitted by law:
(1) When necessary to protect a person's life, body, or property, and it is difficult to obtain the individual's consent
(2) When particularly necessary to improve public health or promote the sound development of children, and it is difficult to obtain the individual's consent
(3) When it is necessary to cooperate with a national or local government agency, or a party entrusted by such an agency, in performing duties prescribed by law, and obtaining the individual's consent could impede the performance of those duties
(4) When the following matters have been announced or published in advance and the Company has filed a notification with the Personal Information Protection Commission:
(i) That the purposes of use include provision to third parties
(ii) The categories of data provided to third parties
(iii) The means or method of provision to third parties
(iv) That provision of personal information to third parties will be stopped upon the individual's request
(v) The method for accepting such requests
2. Notwithstanding the preceding paragraph, the recipient of the information is not considered a third party in the following cases:
(1) When the Company entrusts all or part of the handling of personal information within the scope necessary to achieve the purposes of use
(2) When personal information is provided in connection with business succession due to merger or other reasons
(3) When personal information is jointly used with specific parties, and the individual has been notified in advance, or placed in a position to easily learn, of that fact, the categories of personal information jointly used, the scope of joint users, the purposes of use, and the name of the party responsible for managing the personal information
Article 7 (Changes to This Privacy Policy)
Except for matters otherwise provided by law, the content of this policy may be changed without notice to individuals. The revised Privacy Policy takes effect when posted on this website.
