Generative AI × Manufacturing! AI Engineer Internship at a Fast-Growing Startup Born at the University of Tokyo
[Open Position]
We are a University of Tokyo AI startup selected for "GENIAC," a national project run by the Ministry of Economy, Trade and Industry (METI) and NEDO. We are advancing R&D on an LLM for generating ladder programs that support automation in manufacturing.
You will join this frontline project and take charge of developing AI solutions specialized in solving manufacturing challenges.
[Main Responsibilities]
A proprietary LLM model specialized in system design for the manufacturing industry

Knowledge management and utilization systems for manufacturing powered by LLMs

Visual inspection AI systems using image recognition

Product design support AI using 3D model data

Production planning optimization systems based on mathematical optimization
You will develop these and other systems together with our CTO Ohkuma (lecturer of "Deep Learning" and "Deep Generative Models"), digging deep into cutting-edge AI theory as you go.
Because you will select algorithms and improve accuracy while hearing directly from customers, you will sharpen not only your technical skills but also your communication skills. - Experience full-scale, real-world AI implementation on the front lines of manufacturing—something hard to gain through self-study
