Generative AI × Manufacturing! AI Engineer Internship at a Fast-Growing Startup Born at the University of Tokyo
[Open Position]
We are a University of Tokyo AI startup selected for "GENIAC," a national project run by the Ministry of Economy, Trade and Industry (METI) and NEDO. Depending on your interests and skills, you will be involved in robotics development such as the following.
[Main Responsibilities]
- Developing visual inspection systems that combine image recognition AI with industrial robot arms
- AI × robot automation projects supporting PLC control and ladder program generation
- Software development for communication robots with built-in conversational AI
- Developing "skill-transfer support robots" that draw out veteran workers' expertise and turn it into knowledge
- Design support and process optimization robotics using 3D CAD model analysis and part recognition
- AI-based planning of robot work routes and placement
- Natural language control using robot foundation models
You will develop these and other systems under the mentorship of our experienced engineers, making full use of a modern technology stack.
You will advance robotics development using a cutting-edge technology stack. Because you will decide on designs and implementation approaches while hearing about customers' on-site challenges firsthand, you will sharpen not only your technical skills but also your problem-solving and communication skills.
